Lviv Vows of Jan Kazimierz Waza helped to save Poland almost completely conquered by the Swedish and the Russian. The vows mustered the people to fight off the invaders.
The king handed the country under the protection of the Mother of God and promised to improve the situation of the peasants and the burghers.
