The pupils of the Primary School in Szczeglino have regularly met at the stylish Poetry Club placed by the school’s library to listen to the works of Bolesław Prus. They have been read by special guests invited to the school.

On the 13th February, Edward Grębski, the chairman of „Refugium” Association read a fragment of „Anielka”.
10th March was marked by the visit of the bishop: Krzysztof Zadarko who presented the heroine of a short story entitled: „Na wakacjach”. It was Jagna who saved a child from a burning house.
On 8th May the school was visited by the alderman in Sianów: Piotr Kłobuch. He read a story entitled: „Z legend dawnego Egiptu”. The story is about a tragic fate of Horus, bitten by a venomous spider.
On 20th May the school was visited by the village administrator of Nowe Szczeglino, Henryk Grzybowski, who read „Katarynka”.
On 22th May the story was continued by Ryszard Wątroba.
29th May was marked by the visit of the village administrator of Mokre, Daniel Kalicki who read a nostalgic story entitled: „Kamizelka”. On 12th June the school had another visit. This time it was Barbara Iwanisik who read a fragment of „Przygoda Stasia”.
